Maritime Operations. Local-First. Cloud-Connected.
A meshed agent between your office and your vessels. The vessel app runs entirely offline — engine room logs, wheelhouse navigation, maintenance, crew, inventory, and compliance. When connectivity returns, everything syncs automatically. The office sees operations in real time: dispatches flow to vessels as orders, pickups and drops sync on execution, and when an engineer services equipment, filters auto-deduct from inventory and trigger supply orders back to the office before you run dry.
Maritime operations are complex enough without tools that don't talk to each other — or that stop working the moment you leave the dock.
Lost, damaged, or incomplete logs. Hours wasted transcribing handwritten entries. No backup when pages go overboard.
Crew lists in one file, maintenance in another, compliance in a third. No single source of truth — and none of it works offline.
Most SaaS tools become useless the moment you lose connectivity. Your operation shouldn't grind to a halt because the Wi-Fi dropped.
Expired certifications, missed inspections, forgotten maintenance — all discovered too late, usually during a port state inspection.
There's a better way.
LogicDock runs directly on your vessel's hardware — a full PHP application server with local SQLite database. No internet? No problem. Everything works. When connectivity returns, a bidirectional sync engine reconciles your vessel data with the cloud automatically.
An embedded PHP 8.3 server runs the full application on your vessel hardware. Every feature, every log, every transaction — all local, all the time.
Your vessel data lives in a local SQLite database with WAL mode for concurrent read/write. The vessel is authoritative when offline — no data loss, ever.
A background Node.js sync engine pushes local changes to the cloud and pulls shore-side updates — automatically, on a 30-second tick, when connectivity is available.
If the same record was modified both locally and in the cloud, the vessel's version takes precedence for operational data. Your crew's logs are never overwritten by shore-side edits.
A rugged Electron shell hosts the PHP runtime, SQLite database, and sync engine in a single installable application. Auto-updates when online, fully autonomous when offline.
On the development roadmap: direct NMEA 2000 hardware integration to automatically pull engine hours, fluid levels, and sensor data from your vessel's network — no manual entry required.
Offline: All operations run locally on vessel hardware. Online: Sync engine reconciles bidirectionally every 30 seconds. No manual intervention required.
One platform. Every department. Total operational control — from the bridge to the engine room to the front office.
The most comprehensive engine room module in maritime software. Track every engine, generator, gearbox, and auxiliary system with service logs, hour tracking, fluid management, and real-time readings.
Chief engineers, assistant engineers, and vessel mechanics — every system tracked, every service logged
Plan, track, and document maintenance across every vessel and piece of equipment. From preventative maintenance to emergency repairs — every service is logged, every part is tracked, every cost is captured.
Catch maintenance needs before they become emergencies
A professional wheelhouse module designed by mariners, for mariners. Log entries, weather observations, position reports, barge/tow configurations, and daily operations — all in a familiar logbook format.
Captains, mates, watch officers, and wheelhouse crew — your logbook, digitized
Your fleet's shore-side command center. The office sees vessel operations in real time as vessels sync. Dispatches flow to vessels as orders, pickups and drops sync on execution, and supply needs trigger automatically from the engine room to the office.
Port captains, port engineers, office managers, compliance officers, and operations leadership
Track every crew member, certification, and assignment across your entire fleet in one place. Role-based access control ensures everyone sees exactly what they need — nothing more, nothing less.
Never get caught with an expired certification again
Track parts, consumables, and supplies across your entire operation — by department. When an engineer services equipment and parts auto-deduct from vessel inventory, the office sees it in real time. Hit a minimum threshold and the system automatically creates a supply order with full order tracking — no phone calls, no radio requests, no missed orders.
Automated alerts before critical parts run low
Stay inspection-ready with comprehensive compliance tracking, safety documentation, and deck operations management. Every document, every certification, always current — even offline.
This module is on the development roadmap and not yet available. We're actively building it with feedback from captains, port engineers, and compliance officers.
Stay inspection-ready — under active development
A full document management system (DMS) with folder organization, search, version control, and attestations. Plus vessel-to-shore messaging for seamless communication when connected.
Inspection-ready document management with full audit trails
Built by maritime professionals, for maritime professionals. Local-first because the sea doesn't have Wi-Fi.
The only maritime platform that runs entirely on your vessel. No connectivity? No problem. Every feature works offline — logs, maintenance, inventory, compliance. All of it.
When you're back in range, a background sync engine reconciles your vessel data with the cloud — every 30 seconds. No manual sync buttons. No data conflicts. It just works.
LogicDock is a meshed agent between your office and your vessels. Dispatches flow to vessels as orders. Pickups and drops sync on execution. When an engineer services equipment, filters auto-deduct from inventory and supply orders trigger back to the office automatically. The office sees operations as they happen.
From crew member to port captain to system admin — every role has exactly the access it needs. Nothing more, nothing less.
One login. One identity. One company-wide permission model. No more juggling separate accounts for office and vessel.
KPIs, alerts, vessel status, crew readiness, maintenance needs — all visible at a glance from any device, anywhere.
Designed to look and feel like real ship logbooks, not generic business software. Your crew will actually want to use it.
Each company gets its own isolated database. Your data is never shared with or visible to other companies. 100% private, 100% secure.
If the same record was modified both on the vessel and in the cloud, the vessel's version takes precedence for operational data. Your crew's logs are never overwritten.

Everything you need to know before getting started.
Yes. LogicDock is a local-first application that runs directly on your vessel's hardware. An embedded PHP 8.3 server hosts the full application with a local SQLite database. Every feature — engine room logs, wheelhouse entries, maintenance tracking, inventory, compliance — works completely offline. When you regain connectivity, a background sync engine automatically reconciles your data with the cloud.
The Solo Vessel plan ($174/month or $1,995/year) is designed for single vessel owners. The app runs locally on your vessel's computer with a local database, and automatically backs up to the cloud when internet is available. You get disaster recovery — if your vessel computer breaks, you can restore all data on a new machine. No backoffice fleet management is included, but you can upgrade to Fleet anytime. The Fleet plans ($349/month or $3,490/year per vessel) include full backoffice fleet management, bidirectional cloud sync, and shore-side oversight tools.
No. LogicDock has zero setup fees or hidden implementation costs. You only pay for your subscription. We provide standard templates and guided onboarding to help you get your vessels, equipment, and crew set up quickly.
Onboarding begins immediately. After you complete your subscription payment, you're instantly routed to the setup process — provision your company, configure your vessels, add crew and equipment, and start using LogicDock right away. Automated CSV import tools for bulk data entry are coming soon — in the meantime, our team provides assisted onboarding support to help you get set up.
The primary host computer runs the LogicDock Electron desktop application on Windows. This host machine runs the embedded PHP server, local SQLite database, and sync engine — it's the brain of your vessel's system. For additional stations on board (tablets, laptops, phones), you'll need a router or network switch so those devices can connect to the host application via a standard web browser on the same local network. No internet required — everything stays on your vessel's LAN. NMEA 2000 hardware integration is on the development roadmap but not yet available.
Yes. On fleet monthly billing, you pay only for active vessels each month. On fleet annual billing, you prepay for a set number of vessels and only pay monthly overage ($349/vessel) if you exceed that limit during the year.
If you're on the Solo Vessel plan, your data is automatically backed up to the cloud every time your vessel has internet connectivity. If your computer breaks, simply install the LogicDock app on a new machine, place your vessel-setup.json file, and the app will restore all your data from the cloud backup. On Fleet plans, your data is always synced bidirectionally, so any new machine can pull the full vessel state from the cloud.
Yes. Since Solo Vessel plans already back up your data to the cloud in a standard MariaDB database, upgrading to Fleet is seamless — your vessel data is already in the cloud and ready for fleet management features. No data migration is required.
Absolutely. LogicDock uses a multi-tenant architecture with fully isolated databases per company. Each company has its own secure database, encrypted communication, and role-based access control. Your data is never shared with or visible to other companies.
LogicDock uses a "vessel wins" conflict resolution strategy for operational data. If the same record was modified both locally (offline) and in the cloud, the vessel's version takes precedence. This ensures your crew's real-time operational logs are never overwritten by shore-side edits. For catalog data (parts, presets), the cloud is authoritative.
LogicDock supports 8+ user roles including crew member, deckhand, engineer, captain, port captain, port engineer, office manager, compliance officer, crew manager, and system admin. Each role has granular permissions tailored to their responsibilities.
